I have a blind dog and she is pefect and happy without her sight.....she is super smart and next bumps her chin on the sidewalks as she goes along...she uses her sense of feel ...and lifts her front feet and legs up high like she is marching right before the curbs....sometimes she does run in to things but we do our best to keep her out of trouble....she has no fear and plays with her friend Odin ...Odin my other dog brings her toys and they play tug of war for hours....I hope someone will understand Gregory's story and give him a loving home....blind dogs do very well and are very special little dog people ...:)

I had a dog that was partially blind at 2 years old and completely blind by around 5 yrs old.  She was wonderful and did really well by using her other senses.  She had a path that she would follow in the yard and that allowed her to navigate.  She even was able to adapt after she lost her hearing when she was older.  She would occasionally get "lost" in the middle of the yard after she lost her hearing and I would need to go get her but overall she was a happy and loving companion and lived to 13 1/2 years old.  Animals can teach us so much about living life one day at a time!
