John Garcia gives us an update on how Georgia is doing.
To John I look up too you soo much you are a the luckiest person to work with these wonderful animals. I was just there visiting in June 09, I saw you at Dogtown you were so busy as usual. I did not get to meet Georgia, But, I hope to meet her someday in April 2010 when I will return. I only wish I could work there with you but, I am stuck in New Jersey. I follow you and Best Friends from here and think of everyone everyday. Georgia has come a long way and is getting all the love she deserves. Luv to you and Georgia. Debbie Calvert
Why would anyone want to hurt a beautiful soul like Georgia? All you have to do is look in her eyes and you can see what a great dog she is. She is a wonderful example of how great her breed can be and that it is the OWNERS who should be locked up for abusing these wonderful animals. I have a pit bull and she is the most loving and loyal dog I know. She was going to be abandoned on the street by her previous owner when she came to us. I think these people also abused her because loud voices make her very nervous. She has come a long way and is a very loving and loyal dog. She is a 50 lb dog that thinks she weights 2 1/2 lbs because her favorite thing to do is sit on my lap! I am so grateful to Best Friends for working to enlighten people about pit bulls. They deserve our love and respect the same as all animals.
